Dad's still out and Mom's sleeping, I think. I texted her but - [ she pauses to bite her bottom lip. ] You can tell people, but if it's really aggravating, I don't have to go.

[ ...it's still probably taking a risk, admittedly, but when does jade not want to take a risk? as long as no one's hurt, the excitement is totally worth it. ]
