well i think its pretty basic
if you continue the photograph metaphor then you have to imagine these things as being photographs in a photo album
as such, these are moments in time
there was a lead up to these things and repercussions of the actions in them
sort of liiiiiiike
that picture of you with cake frosting on your face!!!!!
without context you might not know that the reason it was on your face was because i hit you with you it
but if you looked back around two minutes then youd be able to see that

but the point is if these are legitimate then i think we are seeing something that has more to it than it is implying
