born as jade wolf one chilly december day to elizabeth and bigby wolf. seventeen years old, she's a high school student who gets some pocket change from a youtube channel she runs with her best friend, dave strider.

jade wolf's vision is 20/20. she doesn't need glasses, as such, and she has her mother's blue eyes. later in game, this is subject to change, though.

her birthday is december first. jade stands at about 5'1" or 5'2" depending on how generous the thing you're using to measure her is. she just kind of stopped growing around fourteen, and dave's lorded his new height over her since then - she was taller than him for most of their childhood!

jade is taking college classes at the university through a start up program, with a focus on astronomy, physics, and engineering. she is considering either aerospace engineering or studying the stars for a career.

she was raised in recolle and knows the city like the back of her hand - she walks everywhere and exercises regularly.

growing up, the wolfs didn't have much to their name and were poor. as such, jade didn't have many toys and what she did have was pretty cheap. this lead to jade having an active imagination and creating her own games in the form of literally pretending to be a wolf.

she's lived most of her life in a cheap apartment, but the family's in the process of moving to a nicer complex now that they're more on the level of being working class. she's also still adjusting to the idea of being able to buy her clothes at the mall and not just at good will; most of her clothing is thrifted and it's only been recently she's tried to have a "style." she's still not fashionable.

she's also notoriously bad with keeping up with her hair. she refuses to cut it, but elizabeth had to cut knots out of it when she was younger, which led to her hair being even more wild looking than her father's genes dictated it'd be. in recent years, it looks a lot healthier because dave's been taking care of it for her.

jade's also a very vague vegetarian in the sense she tries, but her father's a huge meat eater, so that makes it a little rough on her to keep up the diet. she prefers tea to coffee and dislikes anything that's bitter tasting, which just means that she never gets lattes at starbucks. she's a solid frappe girl. her favorite food is mandarin oranges!

she's not religious but due to her mother's influence, she does believe in god. she doesn't believe in ghosts or fortune telling, and thinks it's a waste of time.

her instrument of choice in recolle is the ukulele. her best friend is very musically inclined and she wanted to be able to jam with him, so she picked up a string instrument like her mother. she can play guitar, but she prefers how the ukulele sounds.

she listens to pop and top 40 the most but jade's favorite artist is carly rae jepsen. she loves her. she follows her on twitter. she's a carly stan. elizabeth loves oldies, so jade's very familiar with rat pack and the like, too.

bigby taught jade how to handle a gun and to not play with one when she was around ten years old. she's very familiar with firearms, and her father gifted her with a gun for her sixteenth birthday. she does not have a license to carry, so she isn't allowed to keep it on her.

she doesn't have her license to drive yet, but she has her permit! she's planning to get her license over the summer and save up enough for her own car eventually. she wants a junker she can fix up herself! since jade's helping dirk with modding his motorcycle, she feels pretty confident she can learn how to tune up a car.

the wolfs go on regular family camping trips. jade refuses to hunt for sport, but she's definitely all about inanimate target practice. jade and elizabeth starmap during these trips.

elizabeth started a fund for a trip to paris in the form of a swear jar. bigby is the jar's main donator, but if dave and jade's monthly check is a little bigger than usual, jade will come home from school and let out a flurry of swears for the purpose of slipping a few more bills than usual into the jar.

jade has a rebellious streak in her (clearly not inherited from elizabeth "snuck out and met my future husband" wolf nee comstock) and regularly sneaks out in the middle of the night to go adventuring. and by adventuring, i mean to say she sneaks out to the striders'.

jade owns one purse. the purse is less for her and more for dave. he keeps handing her his things and she wanted to make it more convenient on both of them, so it was a simple solution. it's a purse.
